Flying Duck - Welcome

I saw the this duck on a raw-cold December day where it was casually drifting down the river towards a small waterfall. I was wondering what would happen when it got there, so I kept my camera focused on the waterfall and caught it just as it took off at the last moment before it would have died horribly.

I do that a lot myself, wait till I absolutely have to do something, and then do it forcefully, effectively and in a cloud of feathers and turbulent air so I can get on with drifting down the river at my leisure as quickly as possible. Casual does it, and really folks, I don't give a Flying Duck.

That said, There are some things I like to do, like taking photographs, cooking and writing so this site is kind of about that. If you like it, cool, if you dont, please see above. And I have added a Blog where I will ocasionally add my opinion on subjects various.  Same applies.
